Hi,

I am new to use ALGLib for curve fitting. Can I set the constraint of the coefficient of the curve so that they are not outside the boundary?

And is it capable to fit the curve below?

if x > 0, y = a* x^2 + b * x +c
else, y = (a+b)/2 * x^2 + b * x +c

Regards,
Dophine

Hello!

LSFit subpackage allows you to perform bound constrained fitting - and to fit by custom functions like yours. I recommend you to study Reference Manual and examples.

LSFit subpackage means that you can execute bound limited fitting - and to in shape through custom made features including your own house. I suggest that you review Reference Handbook and also cases.
