I'm trying to run spectral clustering for very big matrices using alglib.
it appears that i'm deadlocked inside the function, after a min the .net claims it has been deadlocked, however if i let it run for another few seconds it finishes.
the matrix itself is about 1000x1000 and is symmetric, is there any way to speed this up using another function?

What exactly function you called - rmatrixevd() or smatrixevd()? First one works with general matrices, but less efficient and stable.
