Post subject:  U4N Helps ARC Raiders Players Make Better Gear Decisions

Durability management is a major part of surviving difficult runs in ARC Raiders. A successful raid isn't only about finding valuable loot; it's also about knowing whether your equipment can handle the journey home. This is particularly important for players collecting ARC Raiders BluePrints, because losing a raid can mean losing the materials and items you needed for your next crafting project.

When you're working toward ARC Raiders BluePrints, it's easy to focus entirely on finding new recipes and forget about the condition of your current equipment. However, better blueprint progression often starts with better resource management. Repairing the wrong weapon or replacing a shield at the wrong time can leave you without the materials you need later.

Choose Equipment Based on the Raid

Not every raid requires the same level of investment.

For a simple material run, a cheap common weapon may be perfectly adequate. If you're heading into an area where you expect multiple ARC encounters and possible PvP, however, a fragile weapon may not be enough.

The Riven Tides update increased durability loss for common, uncommon, and rare weapons. Common weapons now lose 75% more durability per shot, green weapons lose 50% more, and blue weapons lose 35% more.

At the same time, epic weapons received a 5% durability improvement, while legendary weapons received a 10% improvement.

The result is a stronger reason to match your gear to the situation. Don't waste expensive equipment on every low-risk trip, but don't bring a nearly broken budget weapon into a fight where your survival depends on it.

Check Floor Loot Carefully

Looted weapons have also become less reliable. The average durability of weapons found outside locked rooms dropped from 50 to 30.

This means you should never assume that a weapon found during a raid is ready for extended use.

Check its condition before replacing your current weapon. If the durability is low, you may be better off keeping it as a backup or using it only when absolutely necessary.

This is particularly important if you are already carrying valuable loot. Losing an extraction because your replacement weapon breaks is a frustrating way to end an otherwise successful raid.

Get Your Upgrade Order Right

If you're upgrading a weapon, repair it first.

Higher upgrade levels can increase future repair costs and may require more advanced mechanical components or rare gun parts. Spending a little on repairs before upgrading can therefore save you from much larger expenses later.

The upgrade process also restores 25% of maximum durability automatically. This gives you another way to manage your resources.

If a weapon is still safe to use, you can let its durability fall to a reasonable level before upgrading it. The automatic restoration then provides a useful boost without requiring additional repair materials.

Avoid Overbuilding Fragile Weapons

A common mistake is putting expensive Tier 3 attachments on a weapon without considering how quickly it will wear down.

The Silencer 3, Compensator 3, and Shotgun Choke 3 can all increase durability consumption. On an Anvil rifle, a weapon that might last around 215 shots normally could drop to roughly 166 shots with a Tier 3 suppressor.

This difference can become significant during extended combat.

If your weapon already has poor durability, consider whether you really need the highest-tier attachment. Sometimes a simpler setup will keep your weapon functioning long enough to complete the raid.

Know What Not to Repair

Augments are an excellent example of why you shouldn't repair items automatically.

They only lose durability when you completely die and fail a raid. Being downed and revived doesn't reduce their durability, and normal weapon use doesn't affect them.

Even an augment with 10 out of 100 durability will continue to work normally during your raid. Repairing it simply restores durability for future use and doesn't improve its current performance.

Those resources may be better spent on weapons, shields, or other equipment that can actually fail during the next run.

Make a Better Pre-Raid Routine

Before entering a dangerous area, take a moment to inspect your loadout.

A primary weapon and shield at around 65% durability or higher is a reasonable starting point when you expect sustained combat. This isn't a strict requirement, but it gives you more room for unexpected encounters.

An emergency blowtorch can also be valuable if you've unlocked it. It can temporarily restore a broken weapon to a maximum of 10 durability, potentially giving you enough time to reach extraction.

A backup sidearm is another smart choice, especially when using grey or green weapons. As durability decreases, lower-rarity weapons can suffer from worse dispersion, handling, and damage.

Good durability management can make your entire progression smoother. If you're looking for ways to expand your crafting options, you can also buy ARC Raiders Bp through a suitable marketplace instead of relying entirely on random blueprint discoveries during raids.

The biggest lesson is that durability should be treated as part of your strategy, not just another number in your inventory. Use cheaper equipment when the risk is low, invest in stronger gear when the situation demands it, and repair only when the cost makes sense. With a little preparation, you can protect your resources, improve your extraction rate, and spend more time progressing instead of replacing equipment.
