We want to use the vtk using alglib. Free version of the license of alglib is gpl. I saw the help of vtk(http://www.paraview.org/Wiki/VTK/ThirdPartyLicenses), but the license of alglib is described as 3-clause bsd. Why there is this difference? If we use the vtk, it do I may be regarded as the 3-clause bsd license alglib? |

Hello! vtk uses old version of ALGLIB, which was distributed under BSD. It was long before switch to dual-licensed distribution model. If you want, you may use this old ALGLIB shipped with vtk under BSD terms. However, new versions are either GPL or commercially licensed. |
