First, thank you all in advance for your help on this.

I am attempting to use the minbleic via Python to solve a constrained optimization problem. The results came back as the initial guess. I also ran the minbleic_d_2 example in the documentation and got bad results as well. Does anybody have an idea what might be going on?

Not sure if it matters, but I'm running Windows 7 and Python 2.6

Thanks,
Tom

I've just tested it under 32-bit and 64-bit Windows systems and it worked.

1. do you have 32-bit OS or 64-bit one?
2. can you tell me exact version (build number, other relevant details) of the Python interpreter? Is it CPython?
3. what is the completion code - rep.terminationtype?
4. did it just return initial point without error messages?

I actually reinstalled Python and xalglib, and things are now working OK.

But to answer your questions, I am running a 64 bit environment. The code was 4, and there were no errors.

Thanks,
Tom
