Hello,
I'd like to know if there is a way to curve fit polar data. The problem that I have is as follows, I have two circular'ish shaped objects. The description of the two objects is given in polar coordinates. I want to find the closest fit-up between the two objects by rotating on of the objects relative to the other and or, moving the origin of one of the objects to achieve the best fit.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I think that it should be enough to transform from polar to Cartesian coordinates.

Does it solves problem? :)
