Hello

At first, sorry for my poor english. I'm new in this forum and I don't know if my question is stupid.

Inverse distance weighting (IDW) interpolation/fitting algorithm is considered obsolete and was superseded by improved RBF models, but these ones only work for 2D or 3D dimensional problems.

My question is: it's planned to extend RBF to arbitrary dimensions?

In other case I think that IDW methods should be obsolete just for 2D and 3D problems.

Thanks

Hi there!

It would be also great for me to have >3D RBF interpolation. If it would work, I would consider buying a commercial lic.

And I'm hoping that spline1d is the right tool to interpolate smoothly between the points while ensuring that queries for points where data has been provided return exactly the data from the map. I will also need to get values for x=0 to x=10, and x=245 to
